An AI agent is software that pursues a goal autonomously: it perceives a situation (an incoming email, an invoice, a form), reasons about what needs to be done, acts using your tools (Microsoft 365, your ERP, your in-house GPT) and submits the result to a person for validation. Our agents are hosted on Azure in Switzerland and built with Azure AI Foundry, so that your data stays within Switzerland and every decision remains traceable and supervised.
How an AI agent works
Four steps, from the input signal through to human validation.
1. Perceive
The agent receives an input — an email, a PDF document, a row in a spreadsheet, a request in a chat — and extracts the relevant information from it through language understanding and document reading.
2. Reason and plan
It breaks the goal down into steps, decides the order of actions and selects the data and tools required. It draws on your business rules and internal sources to stay grounded in your context.
3. Act through tools
The agent carries out actions by calling connected tools: searching SharePoint, writing to your ERP, generating a Word document, drafting an email. It invents nothing: it works through your actual systems.
4. Human validation
Before any action with a real-world effect, a member of your team reviews and approves it. The agent proposes, the human decides. You retain control, traceability and ultimate responsibility.
